in our last home in birmingham, we ran inside to flee the mosquitoes. (we had a wet/ woody area in the backyard.)
in our home in orlando, we ran inside to escape humidity although it often followed us. (our AC ran around the clock and it was still hot inside!)
in our home with no air conditioning here, we ran outside to escape the heat!! (yesterday... high 80's, but still feels cool in the shade, but not in our house.
thankfully, it's much cooler today!

I feel your pain! But also your bliss! And thankfully the latter is much more frequent. You whiner you. I can't believe you would blog about being hot in CA.
