home sweet home

We arrived home late on the 30th of December. Brian preached on the 31st. After church, we unpacked our bags and had our own little Christmas waiting for us under the tree. The 1st was Nicholas' 7th birthday!! We were so distracted trying to unpack, organize and clean, but we still managed to have a little family celebration for him. Yesterday, the cleaning continued as well as the undoing of decorations. Today, I finished the task by putting it all back on it's shelf until next year. Whew.

Nicholas said it well when we arrived home, so exhausted from the travel, when he said, "I love home." It was exactly how I felt too.

We are so thankful that we could see our family for Christmas... and now so thankful to resume life here.
