waiting patiently to open the first present christmas morning. we like to torture them. they take it fairly well.
i feel like throwing these christmas posts together is like packing away all my sparklychristmas things. it's like i'm tucking away these moments into a christmas bin that won't be opened for at least another year. just like when i take down my decorations, i don't expect you to be that interested in the procedure of things, but i do enjoy the quietness of that activity and the sense of accomplishment i have when it's complete. and i like knowing that stuff is out there... to celebrate another time... just like this christmas morning that i'm currently putting away...
so glad i have a blog that can store these christmas bins.

I completely agree with your packing away Christmas thought. Two of my favorite parts of Christmas are unpacking all the decorations and then packing them all back up. I like thinking about where they came from and memories associated with them. I generally like the idea of packing. Also, ironning clothes does the same thing for me...
