a fall wreath...

like i told you about.

well, today, i started and finished a project.
i'm usually pretty heavy on the starting, not so much on the finishing.

but today was different.
all because i had the motivation of a friend being with me:

a friend who was willing to enter into my messy house and make something together.

i love how a project like this one takes no mental energy... and no following directions...
and then before you know it...
you're done!
we attached our roses more spread out than the examples i shared with you the other day. i like how the branches/vines are showing a little more.

my new front door wreath is wishing you all a pretty and happy fall. :)

adorable!

curious...did you do anything to make it stand up to weather? the wreaths i've put on our door have all gotten yucky after a while.

good for you! i love it, and may copy you...
i have a black door too - the white looks great. would look cute in the spring too.

loved getting a glimpse of your dining room too. i think you should do a house post!

i want you all to try it... it's so fun and rewarding to just stop for a second and make something pretty. :)

made a wreath the other day. thanks for the inspiration! i used these fragile little flowers made from thin strips of wood that i found, but they ended up being so fragile that it's an indoor rather than outdoor wreath. sigh.
