i hope this weekend gives you time to explore and notice the details around you.

recently a friend challenged me with trying to see something new about one of my children.

you know what that did?

it made me look closer.

pay more attention.
i had to be still and think about this kid standing right in front of me.

and i did notice and learn new wonderful things.

children are so naturally gifted at this.

wondering, noticing, exploring.

we adults could stand to learn from them.

this weekend, i hope you see something you've never noticed before

right in the places and faces you're always looking at.

may we have eyes to see!
